Apologies for the late blog…the website was down on Friday.
This week has been great!! Lots of fantastic effort in lessons as well as kindness being shown in and around our classroom.
In English, we have begun looking at ‘The day the crayons quit’ by sequencing the story and retelling in our own words, then writing statements about the crayons whilst remembering our capital letters and full stops.
In Maths, we are now experts of making 2 digit numbers using dienes and finding 1 more/less and 10 more/less. We have learnt how to partition the number into tens and ones and will be moving into flexible partitioning this week.
In Art, we have learnt different types of lines and used these lines to make some creative pieces using different mediums.
Finally, in PE, we started gymnastics by learning different shapes and combining these into short sequences.
