We have had a great week in Year 6 to celebrate well-being! Our highlights would be learning a skill in origami – where the children made a fish! Some even went on to make a dog, which turned out to be a little more complicated than we thought; nonetheless, we all had a laugh whilst doing it!

The children had the best time at the D-Day Museum and showed themselves to be real experts on WWII to all museum staff. They absolutely loved trying on the costumes, being transported back into the 1940’s and getting into character, as well as discovering new facts around the museum, observing the embroidery and even got to have a look around the landing craft. In PE, we had a carousel of mini-games, practicing shooting, moving and passing skills – one group managed 66 consecutive passes at speed whilst moving around the netball court!
