We hope you had a lovely Christmas break and are ready to kick-start the new 2025 year. We are excited to begin our term off with swimming on Tuesday afternoon – details have been sent about this via a letter and a reminder text. This half term, in Maths, we will be learning formal written methods for multiplication and division – all the way up to 4 digits! Our book in English is The Giant’s Necklace by Michael Morpurgo. During this unit, we will be delving into setting descriptions about beaches, a dialogue between two (or more) of the characters in the book and a news-report about the events in the book (no spoilers here!).
